The Bonfires
“I remember gaming with the usual suspects Luke Calhoun Munger Josh.. Playing in the woods. Bon fires. It was an amazing time and place to be a kid. Happy birthday Luke.”
– Chris Tennant
“Setting a large piece of furniture on fire then proceeding to jump through said fire in radical fashion. Also maybe possibly detonating a few aerosol cans to spice things up.”
– Scott Haynes
“Post graduation bonfire at Luke’s house. There were many bonfires, late nights, games and general high school sheenanigans at Luke’s house!
If you were up late enough, you may have caught Bill outside hosing the family dog down with the squirt gun (that may not fly in society today….lol!)”

“I believe it was senior year, Luke was having a bonfire at his house with some of the usual suspects present. Luke, of course, had to show off his fire jumping skills.
Unfortunately, the fire was bigger than normal, Luke’s foot caught a stick, and as he extended his leg to land on the opposite side of the fire, a 3-6 inch piece of flaming wood, was flung from the fire and hit Chris Munger square in the chest. Like all good friends, including Luke, we proceeded to laugh and joke about the incident as Munger frantically jumped up and patted himself down. Luke was quick to apologize, but it was a great leap, and just one stick – sticking up a little too high!”
